Tour Diary - June 2008
Exciting news, We have found a new Platypus spot that will allow us to be able to include them on the original Wildlife Tour for next season and do away with the need for their own tour. The new Platypus viewing area is a mecca for parrots.
We found a baby echidna again on a rainy day & also a small swarm of Fire Flys which glow in the dark.
The mighty Humpback Whales are back and for our first sighting of the year we were treated to incredible breaching display about 300 metres off the coast, it was hard to leave!
An Emu was spotted for the first time ever, 2 trips in a row on the way to the Red Necked Wallabies. We heard a Koala bellowing in the tree above us & another Echidna out in rain living dangerously close to the road.
